Urogenital Atrophy Treatment and Symptoms
This refers to two separate problems. One is genital atrophy and the other is atrophy of the urinary system. Genital atrophy means that the tissues of the vagina become thinner because of the lack of oestrogen. This results in itching, pain during sexual intercourse, and a greater frequency of vaginal infection.
