Lisinopril (lye-SIH-no-pril) is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor for hypertension, congestive heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, and renal and retinal complications of diabetes. It has a relatively long half-life (about 12 hours).
