since maybe Monday or Tuesday I have been breaking out in bug bite like hives it started on the back of my neck and shoulders by today it had spread from my scalp to the tops of my feet with the worst of it looking like cottage cheese under the skin of my forearms and upper thighs it is all probably stress related I hope so but oh man aloe is my best friend right now

what s happening to bees

Section Portrait

I was fingered to take the section photograph at work happens when you raise your head above the parapit with a chunky DSLR Not wanting to do something traditional I thought I d go strobist style Now that s much easier at home where you have time and can spend an hour setting up and tuning your power levels etc and shoot 1x10^6 images the world only has to see the good one This was only going to work whilst the sun stayed behind it s cloud but as you can see that was patchy so the clock was TICKING I ve just discovered I get stress hives on my forehead <em>Strobist < em> Cross lighting with sb28dx and sb24 1 2 power zoomed to 35mm Camera has an ND grad on to deal with the sky GI ebay triggers camera on selftimer as I need to be there too I did have a 1 2 CTO on an 430EX ready to pick out the door arch but it s on a cheap optical trigger that didn t pick up in outdoor conditions so I left it out Maybe if I keep doing this stuff at work the ll slip me a two pairs of PW s What I have learned is that when it counts don t put your ebay triggers on the canon 430EX it misfires and on half power that s more than a bit tedious the Nikons are quite comfortable on GI triggers It s like cat herding I will never childishly lurk where the camera can t see me in a group portrait again now I know just how irritating it is for the photographer
