I love the NYPL I can go online and request any book and have it transferred to my local branch to be held for me This was the first book that I picked up recently It scared the hell out of me As if having Type 1 diabetes and Hashimoto s isn t enough I m now terrified of getting countless other autoimmune diseases On the other hand after reading about some other autoimmune diseases I m grateful that mine can be treated relatively easily at home and don t cause pain I know that complications can lead to physical disabilities pain and other things that aren t fun but diabetes itself is fairly pain free Sure it might hurt a bit to prick your finger inject insulin or insert an infusion set but that s nothing compared to diseases like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis I also picked up this Neil Young DVD at the library but it s so scratched up it kept freezing and I didn t get to see much of it
