143b 365 Yes as a matter of fact those are my lungs
It s not every day you get a chest x ray and the tech was cool enough to let me take a picture of my x ray up on the light table Not only is it a fairly cool picture but you never know when this might come in handy for an MSH or something I ve had double pneumonia for a week and even after the full course of antibiotics I still have a juicy cough and rattles in my chest when I breathe so my doctor sent me for a chest x ray today Fortunately I don t feel otherwise unwell

The left hand side of the pic is my right lung Lung doc Dr Helmi Lung Group Sacred Heart Hospital says that cloudy looking stuff at upper left is not supposed to be there See next image the PET CT scan for a more succinct image But is it lung cancer There are seven lesions one big one six little thingies Or is it pneumonia Given my history the radiologist and lung doc and G P all agree that given my history it s probably the rectal cancer come back in my lung which means it has metastasized spread My cancer doc oncologist Dr Thomas Sunnenberg Sacred Heart Hospital and I felt like it s more likely infection which can look like cancer With a biopsy I m told there s a one in five chance of collapsing the lung I sure would like this to be some kind of pneumonia or infection and to just get rid of it Anybody know any experts on this stuff Pensacola s a small town If I get a biopsy I might be better off going someplace where they do a whole lot more of them and the odds are better than 15 or 20 chance of lung collapse I m very petite and I don t know how that s going to affect the procedure
Walking not running Pneumonia
So I left work early yesterday to go to the doctor for a cough and chest pain my lungs hurt when I breath She told me that I have Walking Pneumonia I wasn t to happy to hear that however I have decided to look at it as an opportunity an opportunity for what I m not quite sure but I hope to figure that out eventually

<a href= http bighugelabs com flickr onblack php id=3165931602 amp size=large >In Deb s own hand< a> For those who don t know my sister Debby is in the ICU MD Anderson She was admitted to MD Anderson in mid November when her leukemia came back Sometime in December I m sure if I looked at my own Flickr site I could figure it out she developed pneumonia Tonight she was doing a breathing treatment which btw are very hard and painful she asked to take a break She was nearly finished so the therapist allowed it She ask to put on a regular breathing mask to see if she could breath more on her own she soon realized she couldn t and asked to use the other one CPAP It s an awful thing when you cannot breath or communicate because you have a mask over your face and no one understands what you are saying Giving her a clipboard w a stack of papers I asked her what she was trying to say and this is what she wrote Please keep her in your prayers
