Cancer Diaries Day2 The answer to Life the Universe and everything

Cancer Diaries Day2 The answer to Life the Universe and everything

now in tablet form Got a new roomy last night poor old chap is 88 and looks like he s suffering quite a bit And on top of that he s pissing me off I know it sounds horrible and it s not his fault but still With the IV drip in 24 7 I can barely sleep as it is It helps considerably less then you might think to be woken up 6 times a night to the sounds and smells of him using his bedpan Bedpan s wife visited him this afternoon they re actually quite cute together At 80+ they re both not exactly in great shape but it seems they really enjoy each other s company awww At the time of writing this I m not tired anymore so I have actually forgiven him for cutting my night s sleep down to 4 hours of frequent interruption My appetite is slowly fading too I m still eating the normal meals but my snacking activity is down to practically zero There s a bag of addictive pistachios and sweet chocolaty biscuits next to my bed and I m not in the least bit tempted anymore Today I only got two different drugs Turns out Bleomycin is only given at the very first day of every cycle of chemotherapy and only in a quite small dosis However this is enough to cut down treatment time by 50 Apparently Bleomycin is the big daddy of chemo drugs if your lungs can take it that is Side effects include shortness of breath check fever rash and permanent lung damage but usually only in elderly people and at higher doses However I had to do a series of lung tests to determine if I would be allowed to take this drug Thanks for your notes and messages everyone

was no noticeable response and the dog was put to sleep Four months later I discovered and obtained an AgNOR stain kit I obtained sections from the tumour from the lab and stained them This showed an average AgNOR count of 4 5 Published data shows that a count over 3 5 is highly suggestive of high malignant potential Grading of Mastocytomas is fraught with problems AgNOR

My First Time

My First Time

So now I m on day 8 of my 21 day cycle Here s what my 21 day cycle is for anybody who wants to know <a href= http lymphoma about com od treatment qt beacopp htm rel= nofollow >lymphoma about com od treatment qt beacopp htm< a> I had went into the hospital for chemotherapy again yesterday the Bleomycin and the Vincrisitne I was so terrified first just because it was the first time they were going to use the port a cath ever I m still having trouble getting used to it it s weird having a hunk of plastic in your chest and you really can feel it all the time especially when you re trying to get to sleep my boobs always press against it haha P I ve only had the port in since Thursday though so I m sure it s just something I m going to have to get used to Anyways besides just being terrified of the idea of this plastic hunk of junk and just how uncomfortable it feels for someone to hold it and move it around inside you the chemotherapy was excellent Nothing like IV s at all IV s suck Last time I had to get an IV they missed my left hand 16 times and then they moved on to my right hand and didn t get that one in until the 6th time there were nurses huddled around me too because I was freaking out so much It really did hurt a lot They thought I was going to pass out but the port a cath they put emla numbing cream on the port they just hold it with their hand and put the needle in The end Didn t feel a thing So something to look forward to for me is no more IV s Thank god My first time getting chemotherapy through my port or just using the port in general wasn t so bad haha
