I ve been Taged by nannygam 16 things about me 1 I joined flickr 2 years ago and have enjoyed the time spent on it meeting new people this was a pleasant surprise 2 I married my first love and have been married for almost 28 years whew that is a long time I don t feel that old 3 Retired since last July 4 Have 2 beautiful grown children one of each and a wonderful daughter in law 5 I love red shoes but would never wear them the 2 pair I own are in my garden on the legs not my size as seen in my photostream 6 My favourite food is sweet pastry especially my Mom s 7 I have a fear of speaking in public 8 Enjoy escapism through reading novels 9 Avid gardener but have downsized several years ago moved from the country to city life Very different but still ok My gardens are much more manageable now 10 I have a Basset Hound Nutmeg who is 16 months old whom I enjoy taking on my walks 11 Daytripping with friends 12 Taking pictures has been a passion since I was 10 when I got my first camera for Christmas which I wish I still had A little instamatic that used flash cubes and used black and white film 13 Chocolate chocolate and more chocolate especially with nuts the nuttier the better 14 What s not to like about sunsets Siting and watching the sun go down I miss being out in the country when the sun rises and sets 15 I think Ladybugs are special 16 The last 10 minutes spent in bed in the morning reading a good book before facing reality in the bright light of day
