Ok so color us pink because who would have thunk it that one little anti inflammatory called Piroxicam would make her feel so great We have begun to think that prehaps she should have been on this drug earlier and no we don t think that drugs are always the answer but hell this one just might be a miracle drug Not only does she bug our term for when she rolls in the grasswith feet in air and giant smile on her face every single day now she has started doing a short version of her old Bella jigg her legs don t always cooperate she s just a little Bambi she trots and wants to play all the time It s like she s turned back the clock a couple of years Hell we re all doing the Bella jigg hmmmm except for OOna who calls hers the OOna wiggle girls So here s what I got to say about Piroxicam if you have an older larger dog at least older than 9 or 10 ask your vet about Piroxicam It s an anti inflammatory that will not only help with their breathing but it s side effects for k9s are that it helps with arthritis improved bladder control and for our Bella shirking of her tumor There can be some other not so good side effects and REMEMBER I M NO VET so talk it over with your vet first but definitely ask about if your wonder pup isn t breathing like she use to A lot of vets either may not have thought of it or may not even know about it it is a human drug and Bella s vet that prescribed it is a super specialist vet just for older pups Just thought some other wonder pup might also benefit from the ever expanding knowledge of team Bella Have a great weekend Love from Bellaland
