<a href= http www bighugelabs com flickr onblack php id=2319336928 amp size=large >View On Black< a> I am staying in Namibia tonight Where it is very hot and very dry unlike here where yet again today we have had torrential rain and fierce cold winds I need my fix of sun even if it is only via Flickr I hope you will forgive my self indulgence I have deliberately under exposed the shot and have used a polariser to bring out those lovely colours I also stepped up the contrast in CS2 Other than that this is as I took it no computer generated skies or other trickery These are the largest sand dunes in the world and the colours and symmetry of them are utterly amazing I had to get out of my bed at 5 30 am to reach the gates at Sesriem a good hour away on a hard gravel road so that I could get an early morning shot Poor me having to suffer for my art Ha Ha I do know how VERY lucky I am have no fear PUBLISHED in DigiPhoto Pro Magazine 2 EXPLORE Re posting this image due to its popularity on Flickr Thanks so much every one of you that has taken time out to comment on this shot MUCH appreciated

<a href= http www bighugelabs com flickr onblack php id=2316445381 amp size=large >View On Black< a> Two nights ago I took you to Botswana last night it was Zimbabwe tonight I will take you to Namibia the desert The light had been flat all afternoon and I was getting pretty annoyed about it We had travelled a very long way and the thought of dull lifeless shots was too much to bear Eventually the light broke through and I was lucky enough to get this shot just a hundred yards away from where we were staying at the lodge out in the desert knowing I had a lovely glass of wine and a nice meal waiting for me I am so very lucky to be able to do these things for which I am grateful 26 on Explore
