The road from <a href= http www flickr com search w=7388060 N08 amp q=uganda+masaka amp m=tags >Masaka< a> to <a href= http www flickr com search q=uganda+mburo amp m=tags amp w=7388060 N08 amp s=int >Mburo< a> and our first encounter with the menacing looking Watusi cattle that were somewhat reminiscent of the Texas Long Horn cattle and these were just average size horns There were some real <a href= http www flickr com photos youngrobv 2180942018 > Long Horns < a> further on What I like about this photo is how Ale timed the shot so the horns form a pattern reminiscent of fire and flames This cattle is perfectly adapted to the poor quality and limited availablility of water and are critical to the existence of the local tribes in central west Africa including the Kivu of Congo Kigezi of Kabale and the Tutsi of Rwanda The cattle is more commonly referred to as <i>Ankole< i> after one fo the four kingdoms of Uganda <a href= http www flickr com photos youngrobv 2344576933 >Continued < a>
