Don t be fooled by the name Niagara Falls at Reunion island aren t so huge or famous like their s north american sister but this impressive waterfall is 25 meters high and justifies the name after the enormous debit of water per minute

I invited some of the mes who have been modelling during the year for a final group photo It has been such a stimulating year I ve got a big deal of experience in self portraiture and I ve been lucky to find so many sources of inspiration All of you out there on flickr have meant tremedously much not only for the growing as a photographer but also for making the daily life richer as it can be shared throught the camera From all of us to all of you thanks for your support Also an interpretation of <b>unity< b> for this weeks Take a Class with Dave and Dave Unity between the different personalities in a person I composed music as the final project in high school <a href= http www youtube com watch v=U5qM2GmkhSQ >watch here< a> I was a telegraphist in the military I studied engineering physics at university now I m the apartment business after I took over mom s company I now and then do some catering mainly for fun My parents took me out on a six metre sail boat 20 footer for six weeks when I was a few month old and I ve loved sailing ever since I started to play the clarinet when I was nine and still play once a week in an orchestra I was conducting a band at university for two years I live both in the city and on the countryside I ve been out in my kayak about 20 times this summer Next week when autumn term starts I will have dance classes seven days a week I bought a dslr in 2006 and learnt photography from scratch I m in a wine club since nine years with monthly tastings I was in a whisky club for five years I started beginner s class in Portuguese last year During the last winters I ve been to the swim bath once a week to swim 1850 metres And finally I apparently have tons of clothes shoes and hats In the same way as I like to try to be rational yet artistic logical yet emotional I like to walk around in bowler in London sail in foul weather in offshore gear drink whisky in fez and match trousers with my kitchen floor I am a unity

Piton de la Fournaise French quot Peak of the Furnace quot is a shield volcano on the eastern side of Réunion island a French territory in the Indian Ocean It is currently one of the most active volcanoes in the world along with Kīlauea in the Hawaiian Islands Pacific Ocean and Mount Erebus in Antarctica A recent eruption began in August 2006 and ended in January 2007 The volcano erupted again in February 2007 and most recently on 2 April 2007 Piton de la Fournaise is often known locally as le Volcan The Volcano it is a major tourist attraction on Réunion island The erupting lava met the water of the Indian Ocean during the August 2004 eruption Here are some pictures taken in December 2004
