My cat Felixx who lives with my Mom in Texas is very ill He has been lethargic and hiding for the past couple days and when Mom tried taking him out from under the sofa Monday afternoon he hissed and growled before walking out dragging his hind leg behind him She ended up taking him to the emergency animal hospital that evening where they suggested it could be something with his liver kidneys or some sort of abdominal blockage They gave him two injections an antibiotic and a steroid and she took him home Yesterday she took him to the vet and immediately upon seeing him the vet sedated him because he was in so much pain They did bloodwork and x rays and determined a few things he is arthritic was VERY constipated and has a massive tumor on his chest wall They gave him an enema and another steroid shot to help with the inflammation of the tumor and with the arthritis in his leg Because of the size of the tumor surgery isn t an option If the steroid shot helps him regain his strength and appetite he might improve but there s no chance of him fully recovering The vet said he has anywhere from a couple days to a few months to even longer Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send good healing energy his way He can use all the help he can get
