Bad shot from cell phone The day after I put Oz to sleep I was trying to take my mother in law s cat to the vet She bit me really hard and I never got her to the vet I went to the doctor but that night I had a fever of 101 and quaking chills The doctor sent me to the ER the next day and I didn t come home until Friday afternoon They outlined the infection so they could watch it I am on antibiotics for a month and my hip replacement surgery has been postponed indefinitely I am not a happy camper The cat is still in my basement it s a very nice basement Not so sure about the cat

Warning Infection

Sorry I don t want to gross anyone out but I ended up at the hospital today thanks to what has turned out to be a fairly serious infection on my right leg Good news is that I wasn t admitted but I did have an ultrasound for blood clots and ended up with three prescription drugs and return visit Sunday I originally thought I had an insect sting but after two days and a fever it didn t look very good Now I have a couple of days off from work I still don t know what caused it although I did go for a hike the day this started swelling and I might have scratched my leg up against a twig or something
