Red Clover Red Clover Let Rover Come Over

Red Clover Red Clover Let Rover Come Over

The crimson clover was growing abundantly in this little town in Arkansas between Conway and Hope The title is from a game we used to play as children called quot Red Rover quot which went like this you divided into two teams and then one team would call to the other one in turn quot Red Rover Red Rover let here the team inserted a name from the other team come over quot Then the person who s name had been called came running across with the object to break through the joined hands of the other team sometimes they broke through and sometimes the hands held and they did not break through Can t remember what happened at that point oh well LOL
