Twelve year old girl was started on treatment for HIV first wtih co trimoxazole then zidovudine lamivudine nevirapine This rash developed involving whole body with some conjunctivitis It wasn t clear whether the rash started before of after she began taking NVP It does not look like Stevens Johnson and I haven t seen it in other children but the adult doctors say it s not unusual I think it is most likely from the cotrimoxazole though we stopped both it and NVP Currently she is improving and on efavirenz See Rash 001 for view of face ECWA Evangel Hospital Jos Nigeria
