I took today off This week it s been hard to sleep The congestion is just insane and then I wake up in the middle of the night coughing like a dying seal and not able to sleep again because I can t breathe Last night I woke up again and kept dozing in and out of sleep based on when I wasn t enough oxygen through my nose heh heh by 2 30am I figured I simply needed to go to the doctor s today per Jeffrie s command and see what needs to be done = The doctor gave me FOUR meds O o A codeine syrup for the cough and to knock me out at night a nasal spray I dread using these because it seems so strange to spray things up your nose or maybe I will like them like how Arthur got addicted to Afrin in King of Queens ha ha ha Zyrtec for nasal issues and some Guaifenesin Phenylephrine for the congestion And I got some Cold Eeze on the side This is the most meds I ve ever taken at once in my life Kaiser also has a note for me to take today and tomorrow off work I don t WANT to take a day off for sake of teaching my students content But I SHOULD obey the doctor s orders because I m sure it will only be good for me to rest Sigh The 10 mg Zyrtec is making me sleepy They say the Phenylephrine will make up and awake but well right now I feel sleepy so a nap might be in order like right now
