Apparently eggs are a good post tonsillectomy meal

it has been a very long day mad had her tonsils and adenoids taken out today i really had no idea what i was in for she is really in a lot of pain and doped up on Tylenol w codeine when she first came out of recovery she was in really bad shape they removed them because she was having sinus issues so once they have been out now she has a ton of drainage which makes her want to cough well you get the idea once i got her calmed down and asleep in her hospital room i left and bawled on a gurney in the hallway nothing prepares you to see your child like that she has had to ear tube surgeries but they were nothing compared to this the good news is that she is doing really well now that we are home she is drinking lots of juice and water she had some noodles for dinner and is just in and out of sleep for the most part her dr said her tonsils were huge and to expect her recovery to be a little longer harder then average we are looking at 7 to 10 days richard leaves for a business trip on tuesday for the rest of the week thankfully my MIL is here and is changing her flight so she can stay through thursday
