This is an extremely close view of an eye Here you can see the light beam going through a cornea that is suffering from fuchs dystrophy If you look at the back of the cornea the right portion of the lit up area at the bottom of the photo you can see guttata aka guttae These are small bumps on the back surface of the cornea and they are a marker of this disease process at the endothelium and descemet s layer of the cornea

The blister on my eye
I took this picture not to gross folks out just more to see this for myself Woke up this morning and could not see at all out of my right eye so I called my eye doctor in Princeton and he told me to come right over I have a rare eye disease called keratoconus which is basically a weak cornea with sagging skin I have not been able to find a doctor in NYC who can treat this properly so I go to princeton Even today in the Dr s office I was the teaching display to the staff every assitant walked in and looked at me and said quot I have never seen anything like this quot yay This blister is just the natural progression of this disease and nothing really can be done except for a corneal replacement I can t wear glasses with this disease the way the light hits the eye and the glass it does nothing to correct my vision so contacts it is and with this blister which will pop in a couple of days and yes there is water in the blister FUN and will hurt like hell according to the doctor I won t have my vision back for at least two months and even then we ll have to check the scarring since the blister is right on my pupil At least the left eye works but as you can see it is tired from doing all the work Yay Man I was so healthy for all these decades not even a cold here and there and here it all hits the fan Well you won t see pics from me for a while PS cross your fingers that the blister pops BEFORE my kidney surgery next Thursday Yeah another one of those I can t even talk about it anymore
