Native American woman
This is my paternal grandmother who was native American of the Cherokee tribe She was married to an Irish man who would allow none of the family to sign up on the government quot Indian quot roles She was in the sunset of her life here and in rather poor health Apparently my grandfather wanted none of the government and the native Americans were treated with severity and disrespect at the registration posts
