Violent Tornado Destruction Illustration

This tornado picture is an illustration That s right it was made in a computer for a motion picture company who hired me as a tornado chasing storm chasing expert and consultant It is very unfortunate but some fake tornado and storm pictures are often passed off as the real thing Years ago one of my illustrations was quot lifted quot and used without my permission or knowledge by a major New York publication who even added their own made up caption That caused me a lot of grief so I no longer let any editorial client have access to our special effects collections There is nothing wrong about creating computer generated images like those in The Wizard of Oz or Twister but it s important to make sure the quot fakes quot are never mistaken for real shots I should also point out that actual storm chasing and tornado chasing is a lot more fun than sitting at a computer for hours creating digital storm and weather pictures

Storm Demon
