My Husband and his red nose we thought he had MRSA at the time

We Just found out it is not MRSA it is staph aureus his is the type that is not resistant to Methicillin He has Staphylococcus aureus his nose isn t as red today and was draining last night and today as you can see is better Staph is really dangerous if you get a bad sore in your nose don t wait to go to the doctor

How gross

Not a Cold Sore = 100 MRSA

<b>And the Swelling Begins I thought I had gotten my first cold sore Nope MRSA I got this while I was visiting my husband every day and night in Trident Hospital Charleston SC < b> The nursing Staff told me I d be okay quot just wash your hands real good when you leave the room quot They didn t put up a contact isolation precaution sign until the night before he was discharged They let me lay with him in my arms on his hospital bed to comfort him Needless to say I am extremely upset and traumatized over this My Herpes Simplex Labs came back totally negative no cold sore = 100 MRSA soft tissue infection Thank you Trident Hospital I had to have my lip lanced and drained several times before this was over this is a quot good quot picture from when the MRSA first set in I was in so much pain And missed a week and a half of work each day living with the gut feeling that I was going to get fired for not coming into work I still am a total mess I go back to work tomorrow My facial swelling in almost gone and all that remains is a crusty looking lip
