Dinah has dysautonomia the failure of one eye to control it s dialation She s now mostly blind in that eye although she can still detect some light changes The vet suspects it s due to pressure on her nervous system caused by her blood pressure which might also account for the odd nighttime wheezing she now makes She s 17 almost 18 and it s a miracle she s made it this far
