I am curvy I have a woman s body therefore I have curves cellulite spider veins stretch marks and imperfections While I am not proud of the weight I ve gained over the years I realize that my body shows I ve been very well fed and has nurtured a growing child inside of it for over 9 months that is the most important thing about my curvy body My husband does not complain about my extra weight nor does my son both love to hug and squeeze me Genetically I am prone to quot padding quot and have never felt any less love for my ample bodied grandmothers my size does not limit my capacity to love be loved or to live my life to the best of my abilities so I must stop insulting myself about my curves flab and lack of muscle tone It is in my power to change it but for right now I d rather indulge in an ice cream cone with my son than to go without it It s time for me to embrace my curves
