** ADVANCE FOR MONDAY, DEC. 11 ** Giancario Gemignani-Hernandez, 2, of Pittsburgh, has his ear examined by Dr. Alejandro Hoberman, Nov. 20, 2006 at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh. At the hospital, a team of researchers headed by Hoberman will lead an NIH-funding study of about 300 children to try and determine which is more adequate for ear infections, watchful waiting or antibiotics.(AP Photo/Gene J.
