Yano Research Institute Releases Report On Japanese Generic Drug Market

From November to December 2005, the company conducted a survey of 725 general practitioners (less than 20 beds) and 906 hospitals (more than 300 beds), and received valid responses from 554 general practitioners (GPs) and 176 hospitals (HPs). According to the report, 77.4% of the respondents (73.8% GPs and 89.2% HPs) answered that they use generic drugs, while 7.9% said that they don't use. [click link for full article] ...
