Default skin marks and pregnancy

I am Alice and currently pregnant for 9 weeks. My friend told me to prepare my skin from getting stretch marks. I was just wondering if there’s any way that I can avoid getting the marks? Are the creams or lotions advertised on magazines effective?

Well, it’s said that it’s genetics that play a major role in understanding who’ll get stretch marks. But a lot of women testified that vitamin E lotions or cocoa butter and products like renova have helped them in avoiding/getting rid of stretch marks. You might want to ask a dermatologist about this. These products, by the way, are available in any local or online pharmacy out there. Hope this helps!
