does anyone know anything about fibromyalgia? I have episodes of where I get a brain fog, anxiety, dizziness, and I have pain at different parts of my body(neck, shoulders, small of my back etc.) I also experience headache at different times. Then It just goes away and I feel great for a period of time and it comes back. My doctor has done a full blood workup on me and everything is fine but I do not feel fine what is going on? Thanks in advance! xoxoo

My Moms friend has it and she really suffers ...unfortunately she went to her doctor multiple times and they couldn't find out what was wrong. It took her a couple years to get diagnosed and now she is doing really well. I hope you can find a doctor that will be able to treat you quickly because it is a very painful thing to have.
Good Luck. Here is a website about it ... www.fm-cfs.ca hope there is more info for you there |

Fibromyalgia is another of those 'diagnoses' when nothing else fits. It involves a number of potential discomforts that can seriously impact on your ability to live a 'normal' life.
Some authorities still question the diagnosis -- and for a number of sufferers it seems likely that the causes may lie in hormonal disturbance such as that caused by a dysfunctional thyroid. There are folks who have benefited from a more natural approach, which is said to work both quickly and effectively to subdue symptoms and help get sufferers back to near normal functioning.

Quote:
Fibromyalgia, meaning muscle and connective tissue pain (also referred to as FM or FMS), is a disorder classified by the presence of chronic widespread pain and a heightened and painful response to gentle touch. Other symptoms can include moderate to severe fatigue, needle-like tingling of the skin, muscle aches, prolonged muscle spasms, weakness in the limbs, nerve pain, functional bowel disturbances, and chronic sleep disturbances. Now, what I also learned from a friend and from online, you can use some pain relievers like tramadol (ask your dr about it) to somehow treat the pain. For more info, you can google it and compare it to whatever you are feeling if it's indeed FM. Hope this helps ![]() |

I use turmeric tablets (you can buy as a spice and put on your food too, but I don't like the taste). Also, a "tea" of Apple cider vinegar and honey once or twice a day has done wonders for me
