We have a 6 year old weimaraner who had previous had 3 seizures in about a 10 month period about 3 years ago, we put him on Phenobarb for 1 year and took him off, no more seizures until this year.
He has had 4 seizures in about 3 months. He also has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. (He was peeing and drinking alot which caused us to take him to the vet). We have been working with the vet for about 2 months trying to get his blood sugar regulated but it is still high. Does anyone know if seizures can be caused by high blood sugar? Wondering if anyone experienced this? I am hoping once his blood sugar is regulated the seizures will stop. He doesn't appear to be in any pain (aside from the peeing alot) I am wondering what his quality of life is like with these issues? He was also quite sick to his stomach today (I hope an isolated incident) He seems young to be having so many issues. |

In our lives, we suffer a lot.. We walk through on several trials, that causes us to give up. Sometimes we think life is so unfair because of the hindrance we've been through. We struggle a lot to survive, but when things went wrong and everything is gone, we find someone to blame on and ask "why me?"..But things are just not constant, things may come and go, if not today, tommorrow, or never. But we need to value things that comes along our way, looking back the past may serve as our guidance to a new and better path forward..
