Actually, he could definitely have had a seizure, especially if he has destroyed his liver (cirrhosis) from his alcohol abuse. As a result of that, he could have seizures from the toxins that build up in his blood due to his liver no longer able to adequately clear them from his bloodstream - they then affect the brain and can lead to a "seizure". The fool won't be satisfied or convinced he has a drinking problem until he needs a liver transplant. ...
